Welcome!

My name is Nancy Leigh and I live in Lakewood Ranch, Florida with my husband Mark. Together, we have worked with our church to encourage young people in the “Children’s Ministry” department. I’ve become known as the “craft lady” and Mark as Mr. Mark, “the teacher”. Our creativity has been expressed in various lesson activities and unique teaching styles!

One of my passions is sewing, which I learned from my mother. I frequently stitch designs that we developed together, putting lots of love into my art. Just as my mother did, I love teaching children and watching their own creativity blossom; it’s incredibly rewarding. After forty plus years of teaching mathematics, I’ve transitioned my teaching skills from the classroom to the sewing room. Now, I offer sewing lessons to children and adults of all ages!

Designs by Nancy Leigh is a collection of unique designs, stitched on items that can be used on a daily basis. Some of my offerings include beautiful, framed wall art, notebooks & journals as well as wallets & purses.
